"of Brokeback Mountain fame" - Might that not suggest some things that you didn't mean to imply, in addition to what you might want to imply? I don't know, but I'm always concerned about miscommunication and misrepresentation, especially when it could affect children - considering that you never know who reads your blog.

Darling pictures, though, I meant to say - especially the family picture!

Thank you for your concern, Anonymous. I'm quite aware of what implications are involved in a reference to Brokeback Mountain, and I'm quite comfortable making a joke that implies all of those things, regardless of who reads this. Have a nice day.

Ya'll are so cute. That baby is adorable and I'm pretty sure i need a little blond girl right away! Also, who knew there are pretty parts of Wyoming? The part I drive through to get to my parents house is icky.

There is only one pretty part of Wyoming, and all my relatives live there. It's also covered in snow for about 8 or 9 months out of the year, unfortunately. It's still pretty then, but freezing cold.

Is THAT STAR VALLEY????? Please tell me it is.

Yep, it is definitely Star Valley. My parents are both from there--we were there for my grandma's funeral in Smoot (the picture is behind the church there). And Star Valley is really the only good part of Wyoming :)

Yay!! I'm from Turnerville/Bedford. A Genuine SVHS alumnus. I'm going home to visit next month.

I have to say, though, I live in another part of Wyoming now, and it's good, too.
