Nine Months

Little Dude turned nine months old this week. It's still amazing to me how fast he has grown up, especially since now he is standing and cruising and making all kinds of trouble like a little boy. He's still a cuddly little baby too, but it seems like yesterday that he was just a little blob that cried and pooped. Little Dude is a joyful soul and always seems to be laughing about something. He gets so excited about everything and lately one of his favorite noises is a literal gasp of pleasure. It cracks us up. The other morning we weren't so amused when he woke us up at 3 o'clock by banging his crib against the wall and giggling. He still likes to eat and has been trying some new finger foods; he loves Cheerios and is getting good at drinking juice from a sippy cup. Last month his bottom two teeth grew in in the front and it looks like he should be getting more growing in one of these days. Little Dude loves his family and follows us around the house when we are busy doing things. He lights up whenever he sees S-Boogie, and she's starting to learn how to play gently with him. I look forward to the day when they will play together even more and I hope it's coming soon. We love you Little Dude!
