Yesterday while we were making lunch Little Dude went running down the hallway to go the potty. Unfortunately he tripped and hit the corner of the wall instead and split his forehead open. Thankfully Daddy was home too and we had a somewhat pleasant trip to Urgent Care, where they stitched him up with six stitches. Now we just have to keep him from reinjuring himself sometime during the next week before they come out (don't worry, they're usually covered with a bandaid). Well, at least the black eyes have healed! He is just living life with lots of enthusiasm. It is a very tidy repair job, I must say.
Maybe you could install some of those padded tube-like things they use on football uprights. Or mats like on the gym wall so the guys who slam-dunk bounce off instead of splatter.
Yeah, it is a pretty tidy job stitches-wise. Poor kid. He's such a cutie, though.
He could go as Frankenstein for Halloween!!
