The pictures are backwards, but they still show how much fun Little Dude's birthday was. The Sunday before his birthday we had a party with extended family. I made a rocketship cake (he generously shared it with his auntie whose birthday we were also celebrating). Little Dude got many nice, generous presents from everyone and we had a great party. Then on his actual birthday I took the kids to Kangaroo Zoo during the day for some fun. Then we had pizza for dinner and watched the movie Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. It was a very funny and we all enjoyed it. After the movie we ate chocolate cupcakes. Little Dude loved all his presents from us and told me "I got exactly what I wanted!" We gave him garden gloves, a bike helmet, a little action figure, and new pajamas. S-Boogie gave him a squirt gun. I'm glad he had such a fun birthday; after I put him in bed, he came out a little later to say "I just wanted you to know that I had a great day." It was very sweet.
