Seventeen Months Go!

It seems like every day I look at Little Dude and think "wow, how did he get so big?" He's really turning into a little boy and it's so fun to see all the interesting things he figures out how to do. Well, running into the parking lot and climbing on the kitchen table are not that fun to see. He's a very active little guy. Lately he's started deliberately testing my responses; the other day he climbed up on the playground and went around to each of the openings dangling his foot out into the air and laughing at me. Of course I caught him when he jumped off, although I really hope he doesn't keep trying that trick. Mommy doesn't want to play that game. Little Dude can be sweet--the other day in nursery he grabbed a doll and carried it around feeding it a bottle. He also loves our big box of play food and the little kitchen and gets a kick out of cooking stuff and feeding it me. His vocabulary is pretty limited, but he's started signing "flower" and the other day while watching his video he started signing and saying "go!". That's pretty much the perfect word for him at this age: Go!
