Little Dude has been going to nursery for a little while now. Despite the fact that he looks quite happy and cute in his little hat, he actually doesn't like it very much. This has been hard for me because S-Boogie has always been very outgoing and enthusiastic about everything. It's hard not to compare him to his older sister in this regard. Little Dude is quite a bit more reserved, and apparently spent most of today sitting on a nursery leader's lap. I usually take him down to the nursery room and wait until he is happily playing with toys before sneaking off to class. Generally he doesn't really freak out, but they tell me that he spends most of class sitting on the sidelines ignoring everyone and silently suffering until I return to pick him up. This makes me feel so sad. Especially since I really like nursery. We have great leaders and I know it can be a good experience for kids. Unfortunately Little Dude has yet to discover what a good time class can be. Hopefully as the year goes on we'll all have a better time.

Nursery!

Aw, he's so sweet. That's sad he's not into nursery so much. I can imagine it's as hard on Mom as it is on him (maybe harder?). Good luck.
