Paranoia Pays Off
I usually check on the kids every night before I get in bed, and I've often felt a little silly since they're always sleeping soundly. But I still like to do it, especially on nights when I've been at work and didn't get to tuck them into bed. Last night I went to check on Little Dude and I thought "those are weird-looking pajamas he has on" (it's pretty dark in their room). Then I realized he wasn't wearing his pajamas. Or his diaper either. He would have gotten very cold and very wet sleeping all night without any clothes on. Thankfully he didn't wake up too much while I was getting his diaper and jammies back on, but I think it's time to start putting his jammies on backwards. Or maybe we'll just try duct tape.

i'm glad you checked! kids are crazy how they can get out of stuff.
my cousin could get out of any car seat his parents put him in. when they'd go to get a new one, his mom would put him in it and go to a different aisle in the store. all of a sudden he'd wandering around looking for her.
hopefully L.D. will stop at PJs and diapers.
