We're not entirely sure, but we think the black eye was from diving off of his bed on Thursday, and the big lump is from falling down the stairs tonight. We didn't actually see either event, though--just the aftermath.
Wow, that's impressive. Don't go out in public soon or people will be giving you ugly glances and secretly calling child services. I hope he doesn't feel as bad as he looks.
Monday I had to run some errands and we got a lot of comments about his face. The black eye is hard to see in this picture but it's pretty impressive. He's been feeling fine and acting pretty normal; if he wasn't I'd take him in for a head x-ray because I've been a bit worried.

He actually wasn't miserable by the time I took the picture, but he's good at making sad faces. He was saying "Owie cheese!"
