15 Months Old

This is what our sweet little girl looks like almost every day: walking around the house with at least one ball in each hand. She loves balls lately and has perfected saying the word "ball". It is often said rather plaintively when she can't find one or has dropped one out of reach: "baaalll!" She also stands by the glass door looking at the soccer ball in the backyard and whining about going outside to play with it. P.Bibby is turning into a real toddler; she's sweet and cute one minute and sad and grumpy the next. This last month she has also started 'talking' a lot and pointing to things. We can't really understand a lot of what she says, but it's obvious that she is trying to communicate and that she understands most of what we say to her. She does say "oosh" for shoes and is very sad when other people can put on their shoes and go places without her. Tonight she clearly said "hat" and brought me a leaf from the play lettuce to put on my head. P.Bibby can do a few signs as well, but usually only does them when we aren't paying enough attention to her, like she has been saying "muh" for a while without getting any more food. A few weeks ago we took her to the doctor and she weighs in at twenty pounds and is about twenty-nine inches tall. A little on the small side of normal, but growing and healthy all the same. Her face is still a little flat on one side but it is generally looking a lot better than it used to. She is also finally getting some hair and has a fine looking mullet in the back. I will try and get some video of her 'talking' one of these days so we can post it on here.
