I've got to write this down!

Now that Little Dude can talk so well, it's been a lot of fun having two kids that say funny things to us. I'm constantly thinking "I need to write this down", and then I forget about what they said. Here I will try and remember some of what they said so I can look back at it and laugh some time.

Both kids are really into knock-knock jokes for some reason, although they don't really get them at all. Little Dude loves to do them, but they usually go like this:

LD: Knock Knock
Me: Who's there?
LD: banana
Me: banana who?
LD: banana water bottle!

Ha, ha, ha...

The other night Little Dude was having a hard time going to sleep in his bed. He started standing behind the bedroom door saying "Mama, I miss you!" It was very sweet.

He also constantly asks "do cars drive on driving boards?" And he likes to use "because" and "actually" a lot. Sometimes they are accurate, like when he hands me his vegetables and says "actually, I don't like broccoli".

S-Boogie is full of questions lately and dying for answers. My sister got her a book about conception and reproduction for Christmas, and that has led to some interesting discussions. The other day in Primary she raised her hand to inform everyone in sharing time that "Heavenly Father makes your spirit, but you need sperm and egg to make a baby." We've been reading books about the solar system to her because she has been very curious about space, and yesterday she told me that when she grows up she wants to be an astronaut. During her free time she will be a farmer. She also likes to draw all the things she wants: a house with a yard, a dog to go in the yard, and a new baby sister. Don't know if we'll be getting any of those things anytime soon.
